Company information

Putnam Price Group provides a full range of professional services in education, event marketing, and executive management tailored to clients in the fields of energy and resource efficiency. We serve utilities, government, and non-profit organizations. Our offices reside in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood of downtown Seattle.

Together the Putnam Price Group team has over 50 years of experience working for

Stan Price

 

Stan Price, Principal

Stan has over two decades of experience in the design and management of resource efficiency programs. He works with public, private, and not-for-profit clients helping them achieve their efficiency goals. He serves as the executive manager of the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council, a trade association representing businesses that provide energy efficient products and services to the Northwest marketplace. Formerly, Stan was an Assistant Director of the Washington State Energy Office and has held management and teaching positions at both Seattle University and Washington State University. Currently, he serves on Puget Sound Energy’s Conservation Resource Advisory Group and the Energy Trust of Oregon’s Conservation Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Colorado.

Cynthia Putnam

 

Cynthia Putnam, Principal

Cynthia has two decades of experience working with clients to implement customer education programs in energy efficiency and resource conservation. She served on the management team of the Washington State Energy Office prior to establishing Putnam Price Group. Her recent work includes directing the development of a nationally-recognized, professional certification program for building operators. She has been a speaker at national conferences including the Summer Study of the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy and World Workplace of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). She is an instructor in the Sustainable Building Advisor Certificate Program sponsored by Seattle City Light and Seattle Central Community College. Cynthia is a member of the U.S. Green Buildings Council, IFMA and the Bicycle Alliance of Washington, and holds board positions with the latter two organizations. She is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Masters of Public Affairs.

Julie Brown

Julie has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Washington State University and nearly ten years of experience with trade associations related to the building and energy efficiency industries. As Executive Director for the Electric League of the Pacific Northwest she spent time producing trade shows, coordinating continuing education, and managing utility-sponsored conferences. She now works on a variety of projects related to professional education, market transformation, and energy efficiency.

Cheryl Mahan

 

Cheryl Mahan, Program Associate

Cheryl has extensive technology experience with a focus on vertical industry marketing, learning solutions, performance support systems, program management and business development. Prior to joining the Putnam Price Group, she held positions with ServiceHub Corporation as director of sales and with AT&T Wireless Services as a national industry manager. She is a graduate of University of Washington and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
